Orders and Delivery:

• 1. The client needs to fill out an order to specify softwares and details regarding their installation after payment is made. Data center engineers shall install the softwares in accord with client’s requirements.
• 2. Upon the completion of a leasing or selling deal, the client shall be solely responsible for management of the server. It is not our responsibility in case of claims, losses, legal actions and/or legal liabilities caused by any free software and/or pirated software installed by the client.
• 3. Delivery shall be made between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m.. Standard CL room server (Windows 2003 system) shall be delivered within one hour upon receipt of payment; non-standard servers, like other operating systems, upgrading bandwidth, memory, hard discs, traffic, adding IP, shall be delivered before 12 a.m. following the day of order; VPS ,VL room server and CL+ room server shall be delivered within 24 hours; HD room server shall be delivered within 48 hours; delivery date for CL++ room servers shall be specified by the Contract.

2、Default Installation Standards:

• 1. Linux：
• 2. Installation of ssh
• 3. Installation of all the development tools included in the software package
• 4. No partition or installation of other softwares
• 5. Windows：

• 8. iis default installation
• 9. Installation of Kaspersky and/or other antivirus softwares
• 10. Installation of Chinese MUI

3、Non-default Installation :

Default installation is free of charge but non-default installation shall be charged. $30 shall be charged for modification of hardwares in hard discs; $ 20 for any modification in compliance with clients’ special requirements regarding Windows installation; $30 for installation of other versions of Linux or Windows (Windows 98, Windows 2003 enterprise version and Chinese Windows); on monthly rent basis, no extra charge is needed but the Client shall endure risks of incompatibility of Chinese Windows system with the data center.

IP：

In-service IP allocated to the User shall be free of any modification or change. In addition to the three IPs allocated by the randomizer, the User may add a segment of IP. If such addition has some special requirement for the IP segment, $30 shall be charged. In the event of shielded IP address after one hour of delivery, we shall be exempt from any responsibility. If the User requires change of IP address under special circumstances, $10 shall be charged for such change or she or he may choose to buy new IP addresses which shall serve together with old addresses.

IP Grouping:

Any addition of IP address shall be based on the group units as follows:

at least 3 addresses, usually 16 as one group, optional between 3, 5, 10, 15, 32, 48 and 64.

Special Notes:

• 1. Please change password and keep it safe after delivery to ensure proper working of the server. Use of simple password or the original password may lead to hacker attacks or data losses. Likewise, any brute force attack may be harmful to systems.
• 2. Please install antivirus software to protect systems. LUCN's recommendation is to install Microsoft Defender to protect the systems against virus attacks and install ESET N0D32 to provide online virus protection. Please refer to http://www.eset.com/online-scanner. It is strongly suggested that the User not use Norton or home-produced antivirus softwares because they may cause faulty remote login after installation and configuration. Meanwhile, please update Windows host system patches on a regular basis to prevent any unnecessary loss.
• 3. Please use Windows remote desktop properly because non-normal introduction or misuse of it shall cause suspension, black screen or failure in the remote login process. It is also suggested that the User use backup remote login system or buy KVM services because Windows remote desktop is highly prone to failure due to system problems. LUCN recommends the User to use Teamviewer as backup remote login system which allows the User to manage the host in case of RDP failure.
