Pornographic Website

Any content from pornographic website is unacceptable to us. Definition of pornographic contents: All obscene and pornographic contents are prohibited by laws of U.S.A. and China.

Disposal: Our Company will shut down user host if any pornographic content is discovered, and shall make a copy of relevant contents and linking data to all users of the host. Data and all personal information in the host shall be submitted to corresponding network security inspection institution in U.S.A and China to coordinate their work.

Contents with Problems

All contents in the user server must be in compliance with laws of the host country, which shall also be in strict compliance with laws of the region where the user settles. Using the server for the following purposes is strictly prohibited by laws of U.S.A: pornography, junk mail, piracy, attack source, propagation of viruses / Trojan, counterfeit trademark and phishing. Meanwhile, it is also necessary to abide by regulations as stipulated by the region where the user settles on management of such contents. Please refer to relevant laws and legal provisions of the host country. We and the data center will coordinate with relevant departments in handling of complaints, investigations and relevant actions as resulted from contents in relevant websites. We will regard aforesaid host as the one in abnormal operation for corresponding disposal according to different situations.

Host in abnormal operation

With regard to problem servers involved with complaints on copyright (including complaints on copyright of private server), attacks on other servers by a mass of data packages (including attacks on host of the data center) and scanning of ports of other servers, we will regard them as ones in abnormal operation. Under such circumstance, we will grant 3 hours to the client for disposal at their discretion. Any host corrected within 3 hours shall not be shut down. Any server not corrected within 3 hours shall be shut down by us, which shall be restarted once the user confirms that corresponding disposal can be completed within 3 hours. We will charge 45 US dollars for any abnormal server requiring formatting in the data center for reinstallation. Reinstallation is not covered by the monthly service for free reinstallation.

Flow Rate and Bandwidth

Customer service personnel shall notify users to increase flow rate as per price list once the flow rate reaches 90% of the subscribed one. The price shall be doubled for non-subscribed flow or malicious excessive flow. Users of sharing bandwidth shall not be granted the minimum bandwidth. Under special circumstance, data center may not inform of the flow reaching the upper limit in advance. LUCN shall collect charges for user flow as per the bill as provided by the data center upon expiration of service term if it is unlikely to judge the flow of user’s host.

DDOS Attack

DDOS auto protection system aims to protect the data center from DDOS attack, which is beyond the manual intervention. The system can detect the intensity of attack and degree of hazards automatically so as to proceed with sealing of IP or shutdown. As LUCN shall not provide further description of data or flow chart, everything shall be determined by the notice as issued by the auto protection system. Each data center has different approaches for protection from attacks. Host in the CL data center shall be shut down under DDOS attack. Under such circumstance, customer service personnel shall inform clients of shutdown. The host shall be switched on 24-48 hours after attack under the consent of clients. In the event that same client is attacked for 2 consecutive times, the host shall not be restarted after shutdown. Only backup data for VPN remote connection shall be provided at the charge of 25 US dollars if any client prefers to take back the data after attack. For CL+ data center, only the IP shall be sealed instead of shutdown. Customer service personnel shall not inform the client of any attack. CL++ data center shall not be switched on after shutdown if it suffers from DDOS attack for one time. Furthermore, no data or payment shall be returned. For VPS, VL and HD data centers, only IP shall be sealed under normal conditions. Under special circumstance, the host shall be sealed up without advance notice.

Failures to Data center and Failure Report

Stability of data center is an objective as pursued by LUCN all the time. Meanwhile, LUCN shall also dedicate to the stability of data center network. However, in case of failure to network of the whole data center due to some abnormal conditions, LUCN will issue a report on failures to data center network to clients for the purpose of explaining relevant problems. Written report aims to let clients to have a clear idea of exact time and causes of corresponding failures, which represents our responsibility to users.
